What's Your Car Age in "Human" Years?

Remember how people have fun trying to figure out how old their dog was in human years? Mix 989's Gary Rivers went to his car, grabbed his odometer reading and figured out how old his car is, in "people-years". Here's the formula for your car:

  • Take the mileage on the car's odometer and divide by the model year.
  • The result is your car's age if it were a person.
  • Example: Gary's 2016 Nissan has 81,225 miles on it..
  • Do the math: 81225/2016 = 40.29
  • That car would be a 40 year old person

Check it out for your car. Maybe it's time for a trade up!
