Columbiana, OH – 4/26/21 – The Restoration and Beautification Committee of Columbiana’s (R&B) Firestone Dog Park Committee announces the line-up for the Saturday, May 1st, 11 am – 2 pm, Bark in the Park 2021 at Harvey S. Firestone Recreational Park.
Held near the Walking Trail (behind the Clipper Baseball Field), Bark in the Park features adoptable pets, pet-friendly vendors, pet trick demos and a pet costume contest:

*Each dog entering a Tricks for Treats demo and the Costume Contest will receive a grab-bag and be entered into an hourly drawing. One winner will be drawn each hour.
A free community event, Bark in the Park raises awareness and funds for theFirestone Dog Park. FDP is part of ongoing efforts by the Restoration and Beautification Committee of Columbiana to enhance the outdoor experience of Columbiana’s residents and visitors alike. Named after Harvey S. Firestone, the community dog park will include:
·1-acre fenced area strategically located near the existing Walking Trail in historic Harvey S. Firestone Recreational Park
·Natural setting with shade trees and space to run free
·Double gates for safety
·Separate runs for small and large dogs
·Water stations, park benches and dog depots/waste stations
