McKenna Grace Had No Idea She Was Auditioning For Ghostbusters Afterlife

In a fun and eye-opening Interview, Grace McKenna, who stars in the newly-released "Ghostbuster's Afterlife", shares her audition and on-set experiences with Mix 989's Gary Rivers .

One revelation?

She had no idea she was auditioning for a Ghostbuster's sequel. She knew one thing: She would love to be in a Jason Reitman movie.

She made it.

Grace also shares her excitement being on set with such legends as Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson and Bill Murray.

About McKenna Grace:

She began acting professionally at the age of six, with her earliest roles including Jasmine Bernstein in the Disney XD sitcom Crash & Bernstein (2012–2014) and Faith Newman in the soap opera The Young and the Restless (2013–2015).[1] In 2018 and 2019, The Hollywood Reporter named her one of the top 30 stars under age 18. Her more recent acting credits include: She recently was given an Emmy nomination for her recurring role in the hit television show, "Handmaid's Tale". McKenna most recently played the lead in 2017's G"ifted" with Chris Evans; played young Tonya Harding in" I, Tonya"; and starred in "Captain Marvel" as the younger version of the titular character.

Mckenna actually wrote the song "Haunted House", which is also being released today, way before Ghostbusters: Afterlife. She played the song for Jason Reitman and he LOVED it so much, he put it in the movie.
