Gary Rivers spoke to rock artist Rick Springfield on the Wednesday Mix Morning Show. Rick talked about his television and movie credits, along with insights into the writing of Jessie's girl -- and even gave the reason he's been married to the same women for over 30 years --- Of course, he also talked about his most recent album and upcoming tour!
THE ALBUM:
Rick invited his touring band to his house in Malibu to record and film the album live in his living room. The end result is called Working Class Dog (40th Anniversary Special Live Edition). The album and DVD video of the recording were released on June 17, with the single, "Jessie's Girl (40th Anniversary Special Live Edition)," released today
TOUR
Later this summer, Springfield plans to hit the road on a special 20-city tour with his special guests Men At Work and John Waite. Says Springfield, "Colin Hay and John Waite are two of the most talented musicians I know. Concert fans today demand their ticket dollars' worth from live shows and I can promise this will be a show with massive 80's hit songs from start to finish."
