Is Donna Beiling of Boardman "America's Biggest Cheapskate"? - She's a Finalist in the Ollie's National Contest
On July 3, 2022, Ollie's, America's largest retailer of closeout merchandise and excess inventory with 445 stores and growing, announced its search for "America's Biggest Cheapskate" to help mark the company's 40th anniversary.
Wouldn't you know it, a shopper from Boardman, Donna Beiling sent in an application which was chosen as a top ten finalist!
Donna says she's always been a giant cheapskate. She takes pride in her sales hunting and always knows to never buy on impulse. When shopping at Ollie’s she is truly finding her joy when she scores a quality deal, and she sees the savings ring up at the registers.
Ollie’s has selected the 10 finalists, with nine walking away with a $400 Ollie’s gift card, and one lucky grand prize winner receiving $4,040 cash. The grand prize winner will be announced the week of August 8th.
