Kim was raised in a small rural town. Though a country girl at heart, she loves to sing R&B/soul music. Kim was born into a musical family and has performed in choirs throughout her school life. After high school, Kim started singing with cover band Flavor Band and began posting songs on her social media accounts. In 2018, she went viral with her cover of "Jesus" by Le'Andria Johnson gaining almost 2 million views. The viral attention landed Kim a short tour with gospel singer John P. Kee and afforded her the opportunity to sing background vocals for Monica in Atlanta. Shortly after that, Kim won "Race to the Blue" and was featured on "The Terrell Show." Now back in Texas, Kim has been leading worship and gigging at private events.
