Founded in 2001, Golden String Inc. has provided recreational activities and transportation for people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities in all walks of life.
GabbaCamp is the latest extension of that mission, striving to promote the benefits of and allow access to green space which has been proven to promote mental and physical health, and reduce morbidity and mortality in urban residents by providing psychological relaxation and stress alleviation, stimulating social cohesion, supporting physical activity.
We are building a camp on 53 acres for adults with disabilities called GabbaCamp.
With many prayers, eventually we are hoping for 15 cabins to provide 60+ adults with disabilities, a swimming pool, lodge, amphitheater, miles of handicapped accessible pathways, horse barn and riding arena and more.
