Jenelle Evans Could Still Return To 'Teen Mom 2' After Dog Killing Incident

MTV may not be done with Jenelle Evans just yet.

The reality star, who was fired from Teen Mom 2 earlier this year, somewhat hinted that she's awaiting a callback from her old gig. Evans shared the scoop while engaging fan questions on her Instagram Stories this Friday (September 20), as one fan asked what her post-Teen Mom 2 plans would include going to back to school or getting another job since she was let go from the show.

"I’ve always had other jobs besides MTV, so I’ve always been working. I also have a lot of open opportunities but waiting on answers from my old job," Evans replied according to Us Weekly. Evans' response prompted another follower to ask, "What do u mean waiting on your old job?" to which the 27-year-old swiftly answered, "MTV."

What's more, the star also claimed she's still under contract with the show but isn't getting paid.

Evans' abrupt exit wasn't without reason, of course. The mommy of three was fired after her husband, David Eason, allegedly admitted to shooting and killing her dog, Nugget, back in April. The shocking incident caused Evans to temporarily lose custody of their children, Ensley and Kaiser, who were eventually returned to their parents in July. However, since the scandal broke, Eason has lost custody of his son from a previous relationship.

Earlier this month, the 31-year-old officially confessed to killing Nugget in a sit-down interview with PEOPLE. “The dog was aggressive. Yes, she might not be huge or whatever, but you know when a dog bites a child on the face more than one time, then it should never be around the child again,” he told the publication. “I’m not going to pay anyone to euthanize my dog when I could do it myself. … I loved that dog. I still think about her every day. It’s really hard for me. A lot of people put me down for it, they hate me for it, but like I said it was not something I wanted to do.”
