Former NFL All-Pro defensive end Robert Quinn was arrested in Charleston County, South Carolina, Friday (January 10) morning, WCBD reports.
Quinn, 34, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and reckless driving in relation to a crash that reportedly involved multiple vehicles. Local authorities responded to a car repair shop early Friday morning, where a white Dodge Challenger was reportedly driving in reverse upon officers' arrival.
Police stopped the car and made contact with a female driver who told officers that Quinn, who was in the passenger seat, had called her for a ride. Quinn was reported to be uncooperative and slurring his speech when officers made contact with him.
The former All-Pro defensive end was reportedly at a gentleman's club prior to his arrest and caught on surveillance driving a pickup truck over a median and intersection before crashing into the area where the accident took place. Quinn was seen with fresh cuts all over his face in his Charleston County Jail mugshot.
The 34-year-old was previously arrested in connection to multiple hit-and run crashes, as well as slapping a woman in South Carolina in August 2023. Quinn was also arrested for DWI in Missouri in 2012 early in his playing career.
The former University of North Carolina standout was selected by the then-St. Louis Rams at No. 14 overall in the 2011 NFL Draft and spent his first seven seasons with the franchise before stints with the Miami Dolphins (2018), Dallas Cowboys (2019), Chicago Bears (2020-22) and Philadelphia Eagles (2022). Quinn was a three-time Pro Bowler (2013, 2014, 2021), a First-team All-Pro in 2013, a Second-team All-Pro in 2021 and was the NFL co-leader in forced fumbles during the 2014 season.
