Shawn Lawless, with Fins To the Left, the Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band was in studio with Mix Morning Show Host Gary Rivers to invite listeners to the Concert at River Rock at the Amp This Saturday Night. Shawn was accompanied by Ken Haidaris, River Rock's owner/operator.
Shawn shared some Jimmy Buffet stories and told how he began working with Jimmy's backup band, the Coral Reefers, who, by the way, will be performing on stage with the tribute band this Saturday evening in Warren. Shawn also performed a couple of tunes in the studio.
Mix Morning Host Gary Rivers will help Ken emcee Saturday night and bring 10 listeners on stage to actually perform with the band.
Gary said, " Everyone come out to the concert -- we've also got a number of Mix 989 "Summer of Fun" t-shirts we'll be shooting out to the crowd from the t-shirt cannon!"
