"Give With Gary" Is Theme To Encourage Listeners to Donate Blood in March

Anthony Perris and Christina Gargas with the American Red Cross talked to Gary Rivers about the critical need for blood during Red Cross Month

March is "Give with Gary" Month - as the morning show host will be asking listeners throughout the month to visit redcrossblood.org and sign up to donate blood at the dozens of blood drives that are currently planned around the Mahoning Valley this month.

As stated in a Red Cross press release:

"The Red Cross is experiencing the worst blood shortage in over a decade. The dangerously low blood supply levels have forced some hospitals to defer patients from major surgery, including organ transplants. Your donation is desperately needed."
