Keith and Michelle Edenfield stopped into the Mix 989 Mix Morning Show with Gary Rivers to talk about their upcoming annual fundraising event, which honors their daughter, Melina, who passes away two years ago after a brief battle with cancer. The Melina Michelle Edenfield Foundation is hosting its Third Annual Choose Joy for Melina Event on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at The Canfield Green. We will have raffle baskets, bounce houses, balloon animals, face painting, kids yoga, a DJ, a photo booth, and much much more.
Melina Chose Joy everyday of her 4 ½ short years here. Melina loved every color of the rainbow and the color green. Melina also had a love of everything leopard print—which she adoringly referred to as “Cheeto” print.
This fundraiser will honor Melina and everything she loved as well as raise awareness and funds for pediatric brain cancer research. ALL proceeds raised goes directly towards funding pediatric brain cancer research!
Last year at the Second Annual Choose Joy for Melina Event Fundraiser, we raised almost $20,000.00. This year we are hoping to raise $30,000.00 at The Third Annual Choose Joy for Melina Event Fundraiser.
