Winter Thunderland is the area’s newest holiday event on Dec 10th 2022 at 4pm held at the Westside Bowl in Youngstown. This holiday event is FREE to attend. Winter Thunderland is an afternoon and evening filled with our area's most talented artists and businesses at our artist market with two floors of music presented by Rusty Waters Apparel and The Westside Bowl.
The Artist Market starts at 4pm and will host many artists selling their wares of jewelry, clothing, woodworking, fine art prints, lotions, candles and much more! While you shop, try the Westside’s pizza, grab a drink and maybe take a shot at knocking down some pins in the bowling alley.
There will also be a raffle and pictures with “Heavy Metal” Santa to raise money for the Rescue Mission of Youngstown. At 8pm both concerts begin. On the upstairs stage local bands Lake Lake, Papers and Neighbor Dan will play along with the headliner Greywalker (voted Pittsburgh best Metal Band).
The downstairs stage will have national touring Americana and folk singers, Austin Sterling, The Rollin’ Rust and Leo D’Angelo & The Dead Foxes. The event last year, raised over $500.00 for the Rescue Mission of Youngstown with hopes to surpass that with year 2!
