Paul Garchar, Director of Potential Development, announced today that in honor of Autism Awareness Month, a cookie sale campaign is underway at an area restaurant chain.
Paul was a guest on the Mix Morning Show with Gary Rivers and Justine Thomas to announce the campaign. He also took part in their daily "Brain Freeze" contest.
Covelli Enterprises, the largest franchisee of Panera Bread, is partnering with Potential Development School for Students with Autism through the launch of its ‘Blooms of Hope for Autism’ campaign in honor of Autism Awareness month. Monday, April 15th through Sunday, April 21st Panera will donate $1 from each of its shortbread tulip cookies sold at the 7 participating Panera Bread locations in Mahoning Valley to the cause.
Since 2010, Covelli Enterprises has donated more than $2.25 million in the areas it serves to support various autism organizations, schools, and centers in providing services, scholarships, research, treatment, advocacy, and resources for families.
